About Kids Club
Our weekly Saturday club focuses on teaching children the ancient art of Falconry. Children are given the opportunity to handle, fly and learn about our beautiful birds of prey.
Throughout the year there are opportunities for the children to take part in public displays and competitions. We have a fun, friendly and welcoming group of children who attend, some who have been with us over eight years!

Building confidence
Participating in activities at the Wide Eyes Falconry Kids Club can help children build self-confidence and develop better public speaking skills. Handling and training birds of prey requires patience, focus, and a steady hand, all of which can boost a child’s self-confidence as they successfully complete tasks and see progress in their skills.
Additionally, during club events and presentations, children may have the opportunity to speak publicly about their experiences and the knowledge they have gained. This can help them develop better communication skills and feel more comfortable speaking in front of others.

Target Sports
Archery and Axe throwing
In addition to falconry, the Kids Club also offers opportunities for children to learn archery and axe throwing. These activities can be exciting and challenging for kids, while also providing a chance for them to develop their hand-eye coordination and focus.
Both activities require patience and precision, which can help children develop important skills such as discipline and perseverance. With the guidance of experienced instructors, children can learn the proper techniques for archery and axe throwing, as well as important safety precautions.
Participating in these activities can be a fun and rewarding experience for kids, and can also help them build valuable skills that they can carry with them throughout their lives.
